Trinity Investments Group, LLC. is a family-owned and operated Christian business run by husband-and-wife team, Steve and Katie Shaykin. We focus on providing safe and reliable housing in family-friendly communities and operate under the principle of treating our residents as we would like to be treated.
Steve and Katie are high school sweethearts and live in suburban Chicago with their three children.

Meet The Team
Steve Shaykin
Founder
Steve's passion for real estate started when he was a teenager, as he spent his summers interning in his father's real estate law firm. From an early age, Steve was determined to pair his finance-driven mind with his desire to help others.
After graduating from Illinois State University with an undergraduate degree in politics and government, Steve spent three years working in aquisitions for a REIT (real estate investment trust) that focused on single-family rentals. From there, he transitioned t0 working in the private equity space, specializing in the LIHTC (Lower Income Housing Tax Credit) industry.
Steve earned his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Benedictine University. Shortly after, he became a Vice President of Dispositions for a large private equity firm also in the LIHTC industry.
Today, Steve serves as the lead financial advisor for Trinity Investments Group where he identifies prime markets, underwrites potential assets and manages investor returns. Steve also serves on the board of Interfaith Housing Development Corporation, a leading non-profit real estate developer in the Chicagoland area.
Katie Shaykin
Head of Marketing, Leasing, and Tenant Management
Katie always had a desire to work in real estate, but her passion was in marketing. She earned an undergraduate degree in integrated marketing communications from Illinois State University before working for the better part of a decade in corporate PR for two Fortune 100 companies.
From there, Katie retired from the corporate sector and transitioned to the freelancing world where she built websites and social media strategies for an assortment of companies in the private and public sectors.
With a desire to follow her passion for real estate, Katie began working for Trinity Investments Group as the head of marketing and tenant management. Katie coordinates the tenant renewal process, manages daily maintenance requests, and markets the firm.
